Mushur Daal (for 2 pax) |
Ingredients
Red Lentil | 2 cups. |
Tomato | One (sliced into small pieces). |
Onion | 1/2 of a big onion, cut in fine slices. |
Turmeric powder | 1 tbsp. |
Salt | 1 tbsp. |
Coriander leaves | Few leaves. |
Fenugreek seeds | 1 tbsp. |
Oil | 2 tbsp. |
Green chili | 3 (cut lenghtwise). |
Preparation
- Boil mushur daal in a pressure cooker or in any saucepan with turmeric powder and salt.
- Then in a frying pan heat oil, then give fenugreek seeds, after it pops up give onion and stir then when onion
becomes light brown give tomato and again stir for about 4 minutes.
- Now pour daal into the frying pan and give coriander leaves and green chilies.
- Serve it hot with white rice and aloo bhaja.
